Product Description
The white straining cloth is used in the preserving kitchen when a sieve or straining machine cannot separate finely enough, e.g. when making fruit juices, jellies or tomato essence. The cloth made of a cotton-polyester mix is simply laid out in a sieve or similar and the liquid from the fruit or vegetables is poured over it. The fine, clear components now pass through the approx. 75 x 70 cm fabric, while seeds, grains, pulp and small suspended or cloudy particles are retained by the fabric. Soups, sauces or broths can also be clarified in this way. The straining aid can also be used to drain cheese or curd. After use, the cloth can be easily cleaned by hand with clean water and is ready for use again immediately after air drying.
