Especially the fine grain, the flame pattern and the changing color shades in the oak of this furniture give it a solid and warm appearance. The furniture has also undergone heavy manual processing, which has resulted in a heavily used/weathered appearance. This treatment accentuates the unique character of the furniture.
The very rustic oak with knots and cracks is partly filled with a dark accent color. Parts with oak veneer have been used in the furniture in combination with board, which saves the environment and weight and gives a strong construction. Some internal parts of the furniture are covered with chipboard covered with melamine or veneer in order to obtain a beautiful structure and optimal use of the trees, and to save the environment. This sheet material is environmentally friendly, strong and saves weight.
