To turn it on, press and hold the "on" button.
Use the temperature regulator to select the temperature that suits your hair type. To adjust the temperature, turn the temperature control to the left < or right >, then release it to increase or decrease the temperature. As you turn the temperature regulator, the temperature appears on the digital display.
If you do not reset the thermostat after 5 seconds, the device will automatically lock the currently selected temperature (and the lock symbol, a padlock, will appear on the display). After the thermostat is locked, if you want to change the temperature, turn the thermostat to the left < or right > and hold it there for 2 seconds. Select the desired temperature.
