Charge compatible smartphones conveniently without connecting a cable directly to the phone with the Platinet PWC115B Wireless Charger. Designed around the Qi wireless charging standard, this compact charging pad supports output power of up to 15W and incorporates an automatic cooling fan to help manage heat while the phone is charging.
The integrated cooling fan automatically starts when a smartphone is placed on the charging surface and switches off when the phone is removed. Platinet states that the fan is designed for quiet operation, making the charger suitable for use on a desk, bedside table or other everyday charging location.
Charging output is automatically adapted to the connected Qi-compatible device. The manufacturer's specifications list 5W, 7.5W, 10W and 15W output levels, including 7.5W for compatible Apple devices and up to 10W or 15W for compatible Android smartphones. Actual charging performance depends on the capabilities of the connected device and power source.
The charger supports a transmission distance of up to 8mm, meaning many compatible smartphones can remain inside a suitable protective case while charging, provided the distance between the phone and charging surface does not exceed the specified limit.
A non-slip charging surface and rubber feet help keep both the charger and smartphone securely positioned, while the integrated LED indicator provides charging-status information. Power is supplied through a USB Type-C connection.
