The humidifier features a 450ml transparent water container, allowing the water level to be monitored easily. A clearly marked filling line on the mushroom-shaped centre section indicates the correct water level, helping simplify everyday operation. The unit produces mist while the water flows from the mushroom canopy to create its characteristic decorative rainfall effect.
Ambient lighting is provided by six integrated LEDs, offering up to eight lighting modes. Users can allow the colours to change automatically or select from individual colours including white, red, yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. The lighting can also be operated independently from the humidification function, allowing the Ruhhy 24378 to function purely as a decorative night lamp when desired.
The controls provide adjustment of the lighting as well as the intensity of the rain and mist effects. A useful timed-light function can operate for approximately five hours before automatically stopping, making the unit especially convenient for evening and bedside use.
With a rated power of just 10W, the humidifier connects using the supplied USB Type-C power cable. A non-slip silicone ring underneath helps keep the appliance stable on a suitable flat surface. The package also includes a small cleaning brush and a wire designed for clearing the water outlets, helping make routine maintenance easier.
