Measuring approximately 90cm wide, this premium hood combines Siemens iQdrive motor technology, smart Home Connect functionality and powerful extraction performance with a contemporary matt black finish designed to reduce the visibility of fingerprints. It can be configured for either ducted extraction or recirculation, making it adaptable to different kitchen installations.
The energy-efficient iQdrive motor delivers strong extraction while maintaining controlled operating noise. In exhaust mode, airflow reaches 399m³/h at normal maximum speed and up to an impressive 699m³/h on the intensive setting. Three standard fan speeds plus an intensive mode allow extraction performance to be matched to your cooking requirements. The intensive setting automatically returns to normal operation after six minutes, while an automatic 10-minute after-run function helps clear remaining cooking vapours and odours.
For connected kitchens, Home Connect allows compatible smartphone or tablet control, monitoring and preference adjustment. When paired with a suitable connected hob, Cooktop-based Hood Control can automatically activate the hood during cooking. The advanced Intelligent Hood Automatic function can also adapt the extraction level using cooking information supplied by compatible induction hobs, helping provide effective ventilation without requiring constant manual adjustment. Compatible voice control, performance profiles and additional settings are also available through Home Connect in supported regions.
Kitchen illumination is provided by two 3W LED lights, producing bright, efficient lighting over the cooking area. The lighting includes adjustable brightness, smooth softLight switching and an adjustable colour temperature through the Home Connect app, allowing the ambience to be adapted to your kitchen and personal preference. The specification lists a standard colour temperature of 3500K and light intensity of 461 lux.
Everyday maintenance is made easier with smooth, easy-clean surfaces and three dishwasher-safe metal grease filters. For recirculation installation, a compatible Long-life Clean Air recirculation kit is required separately. Siemens states that its optional Long-life Clean Air odour filter can be periodically refreshed in an oven to extend its service life.
