Thanks to the QuickStart® system of the Loewy 50 SST charcoal barbecue, it's a piece of cake. With a few sheets of newspaper and the right techniques, the job is done in no time. Once the Loewy 50 SST charcoal barbecue is lit, the grilling can begin. Intense or gentle? It's all possible thanks to the grate, which can be positioned at three different heights. The adjustable air supply at the bottom of the charcoal barbecue also allows you to maintain optimal control over your fire. A bit windy? No problem, the Loewy 50 SST charcoal barbecue has a windshield. This charcoal barbecue also features a stainless steel grate, which is extremely durable and easy to maintain!
How does a Loewy 50 SST charcoal BBQ work? One of the key features of the Loewy 50 SST charcoal BBQ is the QuickStart® & QuickStop system. With the QuickStart® system, lighting your charcoal BBQ is incredibly easy. Here's how it works: remove the base grate and insert three rolled-up newspaper torches into the lighter tube. Then replace the base grate and place a pile of charcoal or briquettes in the barbecue bowl. Create sufficient air circulation using the adjustable air vent at the bottom of your Loewy 50 SST charcoal BBQ. Light the newspaper with a match or lighter through one of the two holes in the bottom. After about 15 minutes, the coals/briquettes will be glowing. Add some more charcoal or briquettes to the barbecue bowl until it's halfway full. Wait until all the coals/briquettes are white-hot. Now you're all set to get started with your Loewy 50 SST charcoal BBQ! As the name suggests, the QuickStop system is a technique you use at the end of your barbecue session. You fill the base of your Loewy 50 SST charcoal barbecue with water before grilling. After your barbecue, remove the base grate from the barbecue pit with tongs and sweep the smoldering coals into the tube of your charcoal barbecue. These will fall down into the base, where they are extinguished by the water. Once your Loewy 50 SST charcoal barbecue has completely cooled, empty the base. A tidy house!
