BlendSense technology
Ninja's most advanced mixing technology uses intelligent algorithms to detect fresh or frozen ingredients, portion size, and more, and to select the most efficient setting with advanced tools:
Torque detection : Detects fresh and frozen ingredients and adjusts the power accordingly.
Ice detection : Automatically adjusts the power to crush ice when preparing iced drinks.
Portion recognition : Automatically adjusts the time and speed to the amount of ingredients.
Liquid detection *: This function signals, by illuminating a "add liquid" indicator, that more liquid is required when preparing drinks in a cup for a serving.
For best results, this mode should be used when preparing softer mixtures such as iced drinks, smoothies, batter, dough mixes, dips, purees, and sauces. During the blending process, the blender will activate the modes for mixing, chopping, maximum chopping, and/or thick mixtures.
Programs for manual mixing mode
Is it fun to be active in the kitchen? The manual modes allow complete control over speed and consistency when mixing ingredients.
Ten manual mixing speeds help you quickly mix, purée, and emulsify ingredients. Alternatively, the pulse setting can be used to give ingredients a short boost and better control the consistency.
Preset modes
Use the Detect rotary switch to select a preset mode so the mixer can do the work.
Preset modes for coarse chopping, fine chopping, and mincing allow you to shred meat and chop or dice nuts, beans, legumes, and vegetables in the large mixing bowl or food processor bowl. The disc mode can also be used when employing the reversible slicing/grating disc and the food processor bowl.

The food processor bowl is an indispensable tool for ambitious home cooks. The low, medium, and high speed settings ensure even chopping and smooth puréeing. Thanks to the bowl's large capacity, almost two kilograms of dough can be prepared.
